The Powerful Wheel of Business
Control “cause-effect” in your business
Either you control “cause-effect” or it controls you. When under control, customers drive sales and margin, which drive profit, which drives retained earnings, which pays down debt and drives total assets, which in turn should drive your target markets. And, repeat…
That’s the “wheel of business” known as STRATA:G®.
“Strategy” – Every dealer needs one!
Get behind the wheel to drive your business as well as personal finances.
Presenters
Pat Johnson and Dick Outcalt, highly respected retail financial consultants and co-founders of the Retail Owners Institute®, will conduct this fast-paced workshop. They specialize in helping dealers improve Profits, Inventory Turns, Cash Flow, GMROI and Debt Reduction. With their "whiteboard sessions”, Pat and Dick have helped thousands of dealers. Experience it yourself!
Who should attend?
The Great Ideas Workshops are for dealers, CIs and integrators—anyone selling and/or installing consumer electronics. If you sell products and carry inventory, you should attend. You do not need to be a CEA member to attend. This workshop is an excellent opportunity to interact with experts. It’s like having free access to business consultants.
We’ll be tackling “Owners’ Issues.” Owners, principals, presidents and CEOs, COOs, GMs—any senior management with fiscal and inventory responsibility are invited. Strategies and tactical solutions will be discussed.
How much does it cost?
The workshop is FREE—even to non-CEA members. There is no charge to register here online. Do it now! Online advance registration ends at 4 p.m. EST on Thursday, October 11.
Here’s what other dealers and integrators are saying:

There’s more…
Many dealers and integrators have requested that meetings like this be held at industry events they are already attending. If you’re not already attending CEA’s Industry Forum October 14-17 at The Westin St. Francis, this is another reason to attend. We have a special offer: Until October 13, you can advance register for the entire four-day conference at the very-low rate of only $199 (reg $300 members/ $475 non-members). Just use “priority code” IFGI when registering online. Remember, attending the Great Ideas Workshop on Wednesday is FREE.
In addition to all the other great CE-industry programming at the conference, you’re invited to attend the CEA Retailer Council meeting on Tuesday, October 16, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. It covers a hot topic impacting every showroom-based business:
How is Pricing Transparency Influencing Competitive Strategies?
Presenter: Elizabeth Magill, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Retail Industry Marketing, DemandTec Solutions, IBM Smarter Commerce
Kerry Moyer (CEA) will introduce Magill’s presentation with a look at “Drivers Behind Increasing Pricing Sensitivity.” Magill will present results from a recent survey conducted by RetailWire.com that show how pricing transparency is influencing competitive positions at retail. In that survey, retailers, brands and other industry players voiced their concerns about pricing transparency and the loss of control over strategic effectiveness. From the results, you can see a clearer picture of how long-term transparency trends and phenomena such as "showrooming" are affecting decision making, and what role pricing strategies, assortment and marketing are playing in remedying the situation. Attendees will get the opportunity to weigh-in during Q&A. Following, you’re invited to stay on to hear more about what CEA’s Retailer Council has been doing.
Can’t make the entire Industry Forum? Maybe you want to register for Tuesday or Wednesday programming only. You can do that for only $99 by using “priority code” IFGID. Note: Attending the Great Ideas Workshop on Wednesday is FREE. If you want to attend any of the other programming or meals on Tuesday or Wednesday, you must register separately for Industry Forum.
